I'm using two strands of Red Heart Worsted. For the first half, I was using Balene needles. Well, I got annoyed because 2 strands of Red Heart on those needles did not slide very well. So I went to the firefly frenzy sale at the local Joanns and got my bamboo needles cheap. Once I changed my needles, the last half of the back went much more smoothly. I found a pattern for a knitted calculator pillow on ravelry. (<a href="http://caffaknitted.typepad.com/caffaknitted/calculator.html">Calculator</a>) The pattern shows it in chunky gray yarn. I'm actually doing mine in black worsted. I want it to look like my TI83 Plus. Geeky...yes I know...but what can I say - I love math and chemistry. lol<br /><br />I'm starting it tonite. I'll try to keep picture updates every so often so you can see how things are going.<br /><br />Short post - I know. By my title, I'm sure you can probably guess that I like space, along with chemistry and math. I do all sorts of crafting, including knitting and macrame. I play flute, pic, tenor sax, and steel drums. I love marching band!!! And dance...I LOVE dance! I've danced for 12 years now - tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe. Tap is definitely my favorite. That's everything I can think of right now.<br /><br />Alrighty...well I guess that is a good place to start for a blog.
